In this presentation, we update you on the recent additions and capabilities of Advanced Energy’s Customer Solutions Lab. The lab is a one-stop hub designed to provide our customers with hands-on experience with the products and technologies from AE – specifically dedicated towards plasma-based coatings. Equipped with an industrial-sized drum coater and a Gen 2 in-line coater along with an analytical lab, customers have the possibility to test on-site the newest products from AE for a wide range of coating materials. Besides this, the lab aims to provide our customers with specific requirements or issues, to engage collaboratively with our experts and work towards customized solutions. A brief overview is provided on the capabilities of the tools in terms of power delivery modes and configurations available, such as single/dual magnetron sputtering, DC, unipolar/bipolar pulsed-DC, Dynamic Reverse Pulsing (DRP), and HiPIMS as well as the options for process/plasma monitoring and thin-film characterization.
