Duane holds a degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Penn State University. After graduation Duane joined Bowen McLaughlin as a Metallurgical Engineer and then moved to AT&T Technologies working as an Etch and CVD Process Engineer before joining the Kurt J. Lesker Company. Duane is currently responsible for global sales and customer relations for the Process Equipment Division. With more than 35 years in thin films Duane has developed significant technical experience in PVD and ALD technologies and has presented at numerous industry conferences both domestically and abroad. Duane is active as a board member and is Vice Chair of the Northern California Chapter of the AVS Thin Film User’s Group. Duane is based on the West Coast, interacts daily with the thin film community, and continues to engage often, and directly, with Lesker’s worldwide thin film customer base.
